Believe it or not, Tiger Lily Makeup is nothing but a bunch of ramblings from a baby in high school! Yes, I have been completely missing in action because like many other high school seniors, I have been applying to college. I’m glad to announce that that process is nearly over.
Not to be dismissed is the fact that although I haven’t been posting frequently, I have acquired my own domain name, tigerlilymakeup.com. I have also completely cleaned up the site for easier navigation! Everything is re-labeled and re-categorized. I hope you’ve all been subconsciously enjoying this, hur hur hur.
Next order of business. Now if you’ve read my Intro recently, you’ll know that I’ve made it a goal to simply be more informative and show my opinions. I have also noticed that my top post for the longest running time ever has been “Single VS. Double Asian Eyelids.” You have no idea how happy this makes me. Since I feel that my personal experience is the only unique thing I’ll ever really have to offer anybody, it’s very rewarding to know that it is catalyzing a dialogue.
That said, I need your help. If there are any topics you’re interested in talking about, please hit me up in the comments or on Facebook or Twitter. (and you know… if not, pshaa I can come up with stuff like who needs you guys really..)
With Valentine’s Day coming up, Tiger Lily Makeup is reaching it’s two year anniversary! Can you believe that?! I thank everybody for their enduring support from the beginning and throughout this dry spell. Your responses to my giveaway awhile back completely blew me away. I’m always grateful that no one has ever picked on me for my age, or for that matter bullied me in any way. You have all been so excellent to me and I love you and sincerely hope that the new year is treating you well.
I like your not so wearable make up looks, they’re like make up art and are really inspiring. Maybe you can help me out about contouring my Asian baby face and slimming down my cheeks? Or more looks catered to Asian eyes?

I would really love to see a another how-to/technical makeup application post from you. I really enjoy your insane FOTDs, but I think your instructional posts like the double lid/monolid one are so helpful and informative. Maybe something on color placement when you do eye makeup, something similar to your liner post but with eyeshadow?

I think you should do a feature on “top drugstore makeup” for people on a budget. I am older and can afford what I want but many of my favorite products continue to be from the drugstore.
Maybe you can suggest items for a basic minimal makeup kit for someone who is just starting out (not necessarily limited to drugstore). Many of your subscribers are makeup junkies who are way beyond this but I’m sure there are many others out there who would appreciate your HG suggestions. Your experience could save them a lot of money. You have good ideas on medium priced but high quality makeup, as well as splurges that are worth it.
I think about making a HG post ALL THE TIME AND I SHALL SOON DO IT! I BELIEVE I AM READY.
